In these cases direct verbal dialogue between providers is essential. That means radiologist won't have to stop what they are doing to report significant findings. Q: What if an ordering clinician is not in Connexion? PhyQuest helps establish the initial referring doctor database. However, the database is not static. We understand that doctors joining and changing groups is not unusual in a healthcare system. With that in mind, we enabled our application to create and update contact information in the CDA database for future communication needs. Back to top...
Q: What if a contact can not be reached? PhyQuest has created a chain of reporting escalation for Connexion. If a patient was registered with a wrong group or a doctor can not be found, Connexion notifies the client's designated Quality Assurance officer. After the officer is notified, additional measures are taken to make sure results communication is established. In a worst case scenario, patients are notified directly in order to prompt follow-up.
